Saba Alqabelat

Saba is a Senior Analyst at Valoris Stewardship Catalysts. Saba specializes in CG, stewardship and sustainability. Her work focuses on strengthening governance for financial institutions and investment firms and their investee companies, with particular expertise in board evaluation, governance for climate and sustainability and the integration of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). In this capacity, Saba assists the Valoris team with the execution of the work program and execution of various projects. Prior to joining Valoris, Saba trained as a lawyer at Hammouri & Partners Attorneys at-Law in Amman, where she specialized in litigation and arbitration across multiple practice areas.

Saba’s international educational journey spans Jordan, the United States and France. She earned a Bachelor of Law from the University of Jordan (2020) and a Master’s in Law & Finance from the University of Angers, France (2022), where she focused on the relative materiality of ESG factors, graduating top of her class in both programs. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Angers, researching corporate governance for sustainability with emphasis on the European Union regulatory framework.
